Davia Ward

Davia Ward is the Founder and CEO of Healthcare Partners Consulting & Billing, LLC. HPC is a Revenue Protection Partner for behavioral health and specialty group practices. Her team protects earned revenue through accurate billing, disciplined follow up, credentialing, and reporting from visit to payment.

Davia entered medical billing in 1987. She completed nursing school and spent almost 12 years in clinical nursing, including ICU and Surgical ICU. That experience shaped how she thinks about documentation, patient care, and administrative friction. She returned to revenue cycle management and founded HPC to give practices oversight of the payment process. Her credentials are CMRS, CBCO, and CMCS.

Over the last 10 years, Davia has scaled more than 500 behavioral health practices, some to seven figures a year and six figures a month. She looks beyond claims volume. Denials, aging accounts receivable, payer rules, enrollment delays, and weak follow up can hide revenue a practice has already earned. Her work is to find those gaps, address their causes, and help teams build processes they can trust.
