Davia Ward is the Founder and CEO of Healthcare Partners Consulting & Billing, LLC, an Atlanta revenue protection partner for behavioral health and specialty group practices. She began in medical billing in 1987, completed nursing school, and spent almost 12 years in clinical nursing, including ICU and Surgical ICU, before returning to revenue cycle management and founding HPC. Her credentials include CMRS, CBCO, and CMCS. In Davia’s words: “Over the last 10 years, I have scaled more than 500 behavioral health practices, some to seven figures a year and six figures a month.” She speaks on denial prevention, payer compliance, practice operations, and earned revenue recovery.
